Job Description The Senior Digital Optimization Specialist is responsible for leveraging our investment in digital systems by driving optimization in our core platforms. As a member of the User Experience team, this individual works to understand the digital goals of our patients, staff, doctors and medical students to ensure they can be achieved through our existing systems and identifies opportunities for growth when current systems will not meet those goals or business needs. The Senior Digital Optimization Specialist will work with a variety of digital platforms including large scale websites, intranets, mobile applications, content management systems and other software. They will be responsible for understanding the business requirements for system enhancements, translating them into technical requirements, and working with business, user experience and implementation teams to come to the best implementation strategy. They will:
Work to understand the tasks and technologies necessary to close technical or user experience gaps while maximizing the synergies with existing systems by developing use cases, customer identification strategies, and consumer need documentation. Collaborate with other Digital Strategy functions including but not limited to User Experience and Design, Front and Back End Developers, Marketing, Communications, Content and Analytics teams to develop short and long-term solutions to improve our visitor experience and drive value to the organization. Be responsible for the identification, documentation, prioritization, escalation, and resolution of system enhancements and/or bugs. They are heavily involved in system QA, requirements gathering, collaboration with teams involved in the Software Development Lifecycle, priority management and research for bugs and enhancements, and ensuring that the correct staff have the capabilities necessary to use the system to fulfill the goals of the enterprise that this system helps achieve. Oversee the successful adoption and training for users of software platforms. This individual will also serve as the escalation point for any system issues they are unable to resolve. This position may be responsible for managing staff, including direct supervisory of staff and contractors as necessary. Duties and Responsibilities 80% Program Planning, Management and Execution Responsible for analyzing business requirements and functional specs to recommend best practice for system setup, development of new functionality and ease of use for end users Responsible for reviewing design specifications, formulating user acceptance test cases and coordinating UAT testing Responsible for coordinating production launch activities for websites, mobile applications and other software Interact with technical partners to communicate business requirements and be able to communicate technical constraints and/or issues with businesses in terms they can understand Act as point of contact for problem identification, resolution, and escalation as needed Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project oriented work efforts Responsible for the development and execution of ongoing training curriculum for key systems Serve as an advocate for product users in addressing system challenges and issues 20% Administrative Provides direct supervision for staff and contractors as needed Oversee day-to-day system administration tasks; including assigning and prioritizing tasks to team members and evaluating finished work. Identify inefficiencies and provide staff and contractors with enough resources, guidance, direction, leadership, and support necessary to ensure that they are able to accomplish their goals. Assists in planning and policy decisions related to all digital marketing systems, as needed. Serves as liaison and consultant to faculty, staff and administration regarding digital marketing systems. Desired Qualifications Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Possess minimum 5 years relevant system management/analyst experience Expert level knowledge of Content Management Systems, preferred experience with Sitecore Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Health Cloud, Healthgrades, Mixpanel or related systems, preferred. Working knowledge of analytics, testing and survey platforms Proven track record of developing methods to collect business needs and translate into technical requirements Ability to work creatively and collaboratively with IT and business stakeholders to effectively implement, optimize and leverage system solutions to meet business needs. Demonstrated record of accomplishment leading system maturity discussions and decisions Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work well with senior management Excellent verbal and written skills Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
